Fiber Optical Power Regulator

The two-port Fiber Optical Power Regulator module automatically controls, regulates, and stabilizes its output power. The optical power regulator maintains a constant optical output power, regardless of the input fluctuations, compensating for both slow drifts and fast surges, providing an optimum solution for laser power stabilization. This is achieved by using a detector to tap a small amount of light from the output and feed into a closed-loop circuit to control an inline variable fiber optical attenuator. We offer both high speed electro-optical and MEMS attenuator choices to cover all application scenarios of different fiber types, wavelengths, and power levels.
