The CL 1×5 or 1×6 Series reflection switch connects optical channels by redirecting an incoming optical signal into a selected output fiber while collecting the reflected signal into a dedicated sensor port. This proprietary configuration is designed for sensor and LIDAR applications, minimizing optical loss and eliminating the need for additional circulators or couplers. The switching is achieved using patented non-mechanical configurations and is activated via an electrical control signal. Latching operation preserves the selected optical path after the drive signal has been removed.

This series of reflective switches is designed to meet the most demanding requirements for continuous operation without wear-out, longevity without failure, and operation under vibration or shock, as well as -40 0C operation. An electronic driver is available for this series of switches.
