Photonwares’ fiber tip optical coherence tomography (OCT) probe is the ideal optical imaging solution, offering high resolution and high sensitivity in a miniature format of the same diameter as the probe fiber. Based on a patented beam shaping technology, a high-quality lens is fused directly at the fiber end that focuses the laser beam to a small spot within a working distance. The GRIN fiber lens technology eliminates the need for fiber-to-lens alignment and achieves optical efficiency that is several times higher than a fiber coupled collimator. These fiber probes are in volume production. Customer design is available.
