SKU: SUPL
The SUPL is a single-mode supercontinuum source spanning 450–2300 nm with over 3 W average output and power stability better than 0.5% RMS. It employs a 1060 nm pulsed fiber laser to pump a photonic crystal fiber, producing a spatially coherent, diffraction-limited beam across the full spectrum. It is an excellent ASE source with little polarization dependence, also an ideal polarization light source with a highly stable polarization extinction ratio up to 35dbM and little time and temperature dependence. Available as a ready-to-use benchtop unit, it serves as a versatile replacement for lamp, laser, SLED, ASE-based sources. Two repetition rates are offered, 100 kHz and 4 MHz, with user-adjustable output power and repetition rate accessible via front panel controls or through a USB/GUI interface. A TTL BNC input enables synchronization with external instruments. The standard output is free space through a PCF with a fused glass core endface to prevent burning and preserve single-mode propagation, while optional fiber outputs are available via mode-field adapter splicing. Wavelength coverage may be limited by single-mode fiber selection, and mode characteristics can be altered by multimode fiber use.
