We uniquely manufacture the FSPO Series Fiber Optic Delay Lines, offering ultra-low loss, precise length control, and customizable delay with zero dispersion and lossless. Multiple fiber coils are housed in a rack-mount enclosure and wound using an advanced machine that eliminates internal stress, ensuring minimal optical loss. Loss can be compensated using optical amplifiers to achieve true zero-loss configurations. To eliminate dispersion, chromatic dispersion compensation fiber is integrated in series, enabling true zero-dispersion delay lines. Fiber length — and therefore time delay — is precisely controlled using a proprietary optical interferometer system, while chromatic dispersion is characterized using an Agilent measurement platform. These delay lines provide highly stable time references, ideal for radar calibration, phase noise testing, phased array antenna synchronization, and high-performance signal processing. In site diversity systems, they simulate ground-laid fiber and can function as a transparent switch between local and remote paths. The FSPO Series is engineered for ease of use and delivers unmatched performance across a range of mission-critical timing and RF testing applications.
