Agiltron’s ILPM Series Fiber Optic Tap Power Monitors are special-order parts with a 10-week lead time. They are designed for in-line power measurement and precision power control, based on a patent-pending design that taps light without bending or grooving the fiber, or using lenses and optical coatings. This approach delivers ultra-low loss, low polarization and wavelength dependence, high directivity, and configurable tap ratios, while maintaining low cost and high reliability. The continuous-fiber device supports adaptation to various fiber types and high-power handling. Packaged in a miniature ceramic housing, the monitor integrates a stable optical tap with a PIN photodiode and meets GR-1209 and GR-1201 compliance standards.
