Agiltron’s Manual Grating-Based Fiber Optic Tunable Filter provides a simple way to adjust the center wavelength of a narrow band over a wide band. Wavelength tuning is achieved by rotating a grating using a micrometer.
Based on proprietary optics, Agiltron offers extremely low insertion loss, high stability, polarization-independent operation, and high off-band suppression. It is tunable continuously over a wide spectral range. The device presents a most cost-effective solution for OEM applications from fiber optic networks to fiber sensing interrogation.

Electrically Fiber Optic Grating Tunable Filter – 1nm Linewidth, 150nm Tuning

This series of Electrically Tunable Grating-Based Fiber Optic Tunable Filters offers an exceptionally wide tuning range of over 150 nm, low insertion loss (~1.5 dB), and a narrow linewidth of 0.7 to 1.0 nm. The tunable passing band features a Gaussian-shaped peak and is continuously adjustable across a wide spectral range via a grating rotated by a micro-step motor. Wavelength tuning is controlled through a USB or RS232 interface with a GUI, and a 5V DC power supply is included. Utilizing proprietary optics, Agiltron ensures high repeatability, with options for polarization-independent or polarization-dependent operation and strong off-band suppression.

ITU Channel Tunable Filter (100GHz/50GHz) 95 Channels

Agiltron’s ITU Channel Tunable Filter selectively passes any wavelength channel on the ITU grid via a USB interface with a user friendly GUI. The configurations include up to 12 CWDM channels, 80 WDM channels with 100GHz spacing, and 96 channels with 50GHz spacing.

MEMS Fiber Optic Tunable Filter – 0.8nm Linewidth, 80nm Tuning

Agiltron offers Fiber Optic MEMS Tunable Filters with central wavelengths of 1060nm, 1310nm, 1550nm, and 2000nm. It is tunable continuously over a spectral range of up to 80nm at a speed of about 80ms. The wavelength tuning is actuated by driving a rotating MEMS mirror that is optically coupled with a grating and a dual fiber collimator.
