The HVED Series Analog High Voltage Drivers deliver a maximum output voltage of ±220 V with a 1 MHz bandwidth, making them ideal for driving non-resonant EO phase modulators to fully modulate optical signals at wavelengths up to 1060 nm. These drivers feature an adjustable DC bias of up to 50 V for fine-tuning electro-optical device performance. Example of Bias Adjustment: If the HVED unit is set to sweep from -200 V to +200 V with a 10 V DC bias, the effective output range will be -190 V to +200 V (i.e., the positive side is clipped due to the voltage limit). Conversely, if the sweep range is set from -100 V to +100 V with the same 10 V DC bias, the output will range from -90 V to +110 V, effectively shifting the sweep without clipping. This flexibility in bias adjustment allows for precise control, optimizing the performance of electro-optic devices.
